Design to EC7, BS8110 and many more

The ability to design a wide range of concrete and steel retaining structures to one of several UK and international standards makes ReWaRD a flexible and comprehensive tool for the engineer. Design Standards supported include CIRIA 104, CP2, Piling Handbook, BS 8002, BS 8002 Amendment 2, Geoguide 1, ENV 1997-1 (EC7 pre-standard),EN 1997-1 (Eurocode 7),Custom design standard

ReWaRD's durability calculation provides you with a trouble-free assessment of steel corrosion rates under various environmental conditions.

The user maintains complete control over design calculations and output. Default values can be overridden, calculations customised, and the printed output tailored to the user's precise requirements. A print preview facility ensures that what you see is what you print.





Displacement Calculations

ReWaRD estimates the construction-induced (i.e. short-term) movement of the retaining wall – and the settlement of the ground surface behind it – from an extensive database of measured displacements. Long-term movements, which are generally associated with changes in pore water pressure in the soil, are not included in the database but are not usually damaging to the retaining structure. ReWaRD allows you to view upper bound, average, and lower bound displacements, based on the case histories included in the database.
